“This video is a compilation of two nights of shooting, taken on December 5th and 6th, 2010 in Brownwood, Texas. The distant glow you see along the horizon was caused by pollution from nearby city lights.
Clouds on the horizon, coupled with contaminated airspace, added layers of movement and brought interesting qualities to the piece when viewed next to the Milky Way. Taken from 1,100 separate images, during 10.5 hours of exposure, and created the 80 second video above.”
